In project 3, we redefine fashion with sustainability. Our latest collection, crafted in a subbrand of Lee, features recycled jeans that's both stylish and eco-friendly.
Our Story
We are excited to share our journey of creating a new jeans jacket from old jeans pants as a subbrand of Lee. Overcoming challenges as fitting patterns onto old jeans and finding ways to be faster in production time. Our goal is to reduce waste and promote sustainability by repurposing old materials. We invite you to join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the environment, one jacket at a time.
With a team consisting of six people, we made a single jacket collection, available in three sizes; S, M and L. You will discover us soon in any ZEB or BelleRose store in Belgium, where you can donate your old jeans as well. Which we will recycle into new jackets or use to repare your beloved jeans jacket.
Our moodboard
For this particular project, our design inspiration was drawn from the iconic jean jackets. The distinct features of the jacket, including the chest pockets and figure seams, were inspiration for the design of our own jacket. Additionally, we opted to exclusively use the original blue hues that are synonymous with denim.
Brand Identity
Our brand targets women aged 18-35. These consumers place a high value on quality, fit, and durability in their purchases, and are more likely to develop brand loyalty when these factors are met. By aligning our brand identity with these values, we can effectively attract and retain this important demographic.
